Pom Team Auditions
POM TEAM INFO
Our Pom teams combine precise, synchronized movement with strong technical dance skills, including jumps, turns, and leaps. While rooted in a jazz style, Pom routines also include elements of Kick and are known for their high energy, sharp formations, and strong visual impact. They are exciting to perform- and to watch!
- Rehearsals take place on Sunday afternoons/evenings and are approximately one hour long.
- All Pom dancers are required to enroll in a weekly recreational class in Tap/Jazz, Ballet, or Lyrical to support continued technical growth.
- Pom teams are open to dancers ages 7 and up.
- Teams will participate in three regional competitions per season, all of which include a Pom-specific category.
- Every other year is a Nationals year; in those years, teams will attend a Nationals competition located in Minnesota or Wisconsin. (2025–2026 is NOT a Nationals season)
- Additional performance opportunities may include community events, fundraisers, and appearances at assisted living facilities.
